On 21 March 2017, a cooperation agreement has been signed by the newly elected President of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Mr. Boško Vučurević and the President of our Chamber, Pál Nemesi. The cooperation agreement secures the existing cooperation between the two chambers and creates new future possibilities for strengthening economic relations between the two regions.
On the basis of the Cooperation Agreement, both sides will promote economic and social cooperation between its members in the Republic of Hungary and the Republic of Serbia. Together they will initiate and support the exchange of trade and economic and commercial delegation in order to establish direct contact between businessmen seeking investment opportunities in projects and activities on their respective territories.
Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of Csongrad County will work together to improve business cooperation in their respective markets, will participate in the work of its members and help them to find suitable partners for cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, industry, agriculture, in the fields of investment, tourism, industrial and economic zones, science and technology.
The chambers are in agreement to cooperate when it comes to the organization of fairs, exhibitions, symposiums, economic and social forums, conferences, seminars and similar events within their field of expertise.
The signing of the Agreement on Cooperation was attended by the Provincial Secretary for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation and Local Government Provincial Government Ognjen Bjelić, Secretary of the Committee for Foreign Economic Relations of Chamber of Commerce Milan Stojanov, Secretary of Chamber of Commerce of Csongrad County, Dr. Zsuzsanna Olah Traserne, Director of Business Development and foreign economies Csongrad County chamber of Commerce Katalin Somogyi and project manager Eva Đurovć.
