As mentioned earlier, the Good Travel Seal sustainability certification is being awarded to several of our partner companies within our Ecotours Project. The PaprikaMolnár Mill in Röszke has also earned this recognition, receiving a silver certification.

Anita Molnar, the owner of Paprika Molnar Ltd, shared that one of the benefits of being part of Ecotours is that her new shop in Szeged (Somogyi utca 17 - Folkart) will be included in the Wonder Walks organized by Dora Gyuris-Karancsi. Although they’ve worked together before, the Ecotours Project has strengthened their partnership.

"Our goal is to give both Hungarian and international tourists a deeper understanding of the many ways Szeged paprika🌶 can be used and why it’s so essential. Thanks to Ecotours, we’ve also created an employee handbook that covers important information for our team, including our harassment policy and ethical guidelines. During the certification process, we realized that our harassment policy wasn’t detailed enough, which contributed to us missing out on a gold rating. We’ve since updated it, and all our employees have reviewed the manual. Now, every new team member will go through it as well," Anita Molnár explained.

The Good Travel Seal is a globally recognised certification scheme based on the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) guidelines, which assesses businesses against a rigorous set of standards in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
